We've just got back from a long weekend in Prague and want to share, because there isn't much info out there. Before the trip we tried to connect with couples — locals and tourists alike — through SDC and SpicyMatch. We linked up with a few people, but most of it went nowhere, and plenty of locals wrote that they'd be out of town. I think a lot of people leave in the summer. One couple was very helpful with recommendations, though; the rest wanted to meet at the club itself.
We like clubs, but also intimate dates just the two of us — after visiting Fantasy, though, we realized it's quite different from the clubs we know. People also recommended Paradiso, but it's currently closed for a move. We heard good things about Milk 'n Honey, but they hold parties roughly once a month, and not while we were there. Desire had mixed reviews, but its themed nights didn't quite suit us, so we went with Fantasy — and went both Friday and Saturday.
Friday night had an ancient Roman theme — you get a toga (a sheet) and wearing it is mandatory. Some women wore underwear underneath, most didn't bother. The doors open at 9:00 p.m. and they told us to come early, but we didn't get there until almost 11, and it was already pretty full. Shoes come off at the door (probably always), but you can wipe them if you want; your phone goes in a locker. In the main room there's another locker where you change into the sheet, and you leave the key at the bar. You pay the entry and your drinks tab at the end, cash only.
We were nervous about how quickly you're exposed like that, but it was actually very pleasant and we felt at ease fast — and later, once things got lively, it was nice to have the sheet to lie on. At the entrance you get a wristband that hints at whether you're interested in meeting; it's a nice way to tell who wants to connect and who's maybe new, or just wants to watch and keep to themselves. The crowd varied in age and type — I think anyone would feel comfortable here. Very clean and nice. Not many people spoke English, but we managed.
Saturday was the Glamour night, where you're expected to dress up — that was more our thing, and a few people we'd spoken to said they'd come too, so we expected it to be packed. This time we came early and were almost the first there, so we got a bottle of wine, sat down, and enjoyed it. It was nice to relax like in any bar with pleasant music — not music for dancing, though.
Later one woman did a pole performance and also attended to one gentleman and touched a few others — so if you want to experience that, sit close to the pole. In the end the night wasn't packed at all, though, and even after eleven, when the night before the lounge and back rooms had been buzzing, this night there was nobody in the back rooms.
We chatted with a few couples but ran into a language barrier, so we ended up deciding to go to the rooms on our own, and once we got started others gradually joined in around us — but it wasn't as much about swapping and mixing as the night before.
And there's a really lovely hot tub behind the bar; people moved closer to one another, but it didn't look like anything more was happening there, and the showers were right next to it. They provide towels and protection is everywhere, so it's really easy. On the Roman night we just went to explore and didn't bring our own supplies, since we were nearly naked in togas anyway — we met one couple and it moved faster than usual, so we were glad protection was easy to grab.
Overall a very fun, elegant, and welcoming place. I get why people want to come here to meet — it's easy to talk and connect, and if it clicks you head to the back, and if not you go your own way. I liked that it could start and end earlier than elsewhere in Europe, where nothing opens until nearly midnight. And there's no smoking inside, except vaping.
