Short version: an excellent club, a young and fit crowd, almost everyone got involved, a smaller space, the program started right at 11 and was winding down around half past one. Our fourth different club and by far the best!
Booking and location: About a week ahead we filled out an online form and got a confirmation email. Nothing more than the form was needed. The club is about 20 minutes from the center of Prague, in an ordinary-looking neighborhood — it felt safe, with apartment blocks and a school nearby. The entrance is down a set of stairs into the basement of a residential building, with a few signs leading the way. We took public transit, which was completely easy — in the US, Uber drivers sometimes make weird comments when they know where you're headed. We also booked accommodation at the club (described below).
Layout: The club is smaller than a lot of American clubs. The stairs take you down to the bar. There's a small stage with a pole, a few tables, and seating at the bar. Behind the bar is a large hot tub that easily fits 12+ people — the back edge of the bar doubles as the rim of the tub, so you can order drinks. There are several smaller rooms with different vibes: a medium-sized social room with mattresses in the floor and carpeted tiers, a small room with a window into the social room, a gloryhole room, and a room done up like a dungeon. There are three open showers before you get into the hot tub. There was also a small buffet in the hallway toward the changing rooms, but we didn't try it.
Check-in: We arrived around half past nine on Saturday, which is a couples- or single-women-only night. Six or seven couples were already sitting at the bar. We were surprised there was more of a language barrier with the staff than we'd expected, but check-in was easy. They asked for a name, didn't check IDs or a reservation number. They took our shoes and gave us slippers. We got wristbands, where one color means open to getting involved and the other means keep your distance. We got a quick tour, a locker with a sheet, towels and a key, and welcome drinks. The staff were a bit curt, but given what they have to deal with, that never bothers us. Further drinks go on a tab by wristband number and are paid in cash at the end.
The experience: Overall it was by far our best club experience. I'd say absolutely everyone got involved, or at least got fully undressed. Around half past ten the bar was very full — an estimated 40 couples in that small space, maybe more. Average age around thirty-five, plenty of couples in their twenties and a few in their fifties. Not as much body diversity as in the US. There were a lot of couples from neighboring countries, but Europeans in general, young and fit. The theme was the 80s/90s, but everyone was in black. A few of the club's dancers performed at the pole until about eleven. There was a special guest, and then the owner gave a speech telling us to applaud the dancers and have a good time. Within five minutes of the speech more than half the room went to change into towels.
The men mostly went just to a towel, the women to a towel or underwear. That turned out to be the ideal strategy for moving between rooms, the shower, and the hot tub without dealing with clothes. Before eleven nearly everyone sat dressed at the bar; after eleven there was more nudity and openness than we usually see in the US.
Our plan was to use the social room. We headed there quickly and it filled up fast! At its peak there were over 25 couples in it, if not more. It was dim, so it's hard to say exactly how full, but it was lively and from the sounds everyone was enjoying themselves. Unlike American clubs, almost everyone here got involved. The room was carpeted with built-in mattresses, so couples were right next to each other; a few times we had to shift over to avoid bumping into someone, but it wasn't chaos. Generally it looked like a couple would lie down next to another one they were interested in, signal that interest, and once they got the okay, connect. Nobody was pushy, aggressive, or rude.
We were in the social room for about 45 minutes, then showered and went to the hot tub. They told us the hot tub is hands-off, but things were happening on the edges and in the shower. Around half past midnight everyone went for a second round in the social room, us included. It was lively again, but there was room and everyone was considerate. One gripe: the social room could use better airflow. With that many people the room was extremely hot, stuffy, and toward the end a bit smelly. We ended up using the shower three or four times for exactly that reason.
We didn't use the other rooms, so I won't rate them, but they looked well used. The hot tub usually had 6 to 8 people in it, but it was never overcrowded. Around half past one the club started to empty out. We paid the tab on the way out, mandatory cash. One tip: we saw several couples trying to pay in euros and dealing with the exchange rate — bring koruna straight away and it's much easier at two in the morning. The staff were clearly annoyed by it. Entry was 1,700 Kč including welcome drinks, and no membership was needed!
Accommodation: We didn't want to deal with a ride at three in the morning, so we booked one of their rooms in advance. It's in the same building as the club, but a staff member has to let you through three locked doors. Check-in is at 8:30 p.m. and you just get a room key. There are three rooms, very basic — in style they're like a dorm room with a shared shower and bathroom down the hall. In hindsight we wouldn't stay there again. Other reviews mentioned a mandatory deposit up front, but that wasn't the case for us; we paid when settling up at the bar. The room cost 1,400 Kč, about 60 dollars at the time.
Overall: We really enjoyed the club and honestly it's a bit of a shame it's so far away. Everyone got involved, everyone got undressed, everyone was considerate. The couples seemed to be on the same page, even the new ones. The social room was fun. The showers were practical and also heavily used. The hot tub was bigger than we expected, a nice bonus. From snippets of conversation we think a lot of couples were swapping, but plenty of couples also just enjoyed themselves together in the social room. 10 out of 10. The only pity is that we only made it once and didn't get to see what the other nights are like.
